Terms of Service

By using Minestatus, you agree to be bound to these Terms of Service. The use of "We" or "Us" refers to the site and service, Minestatus, and the company governing the site, Vex Software LLC. The use of "You" refers to the user viewing the Terms of Service and using the site and service.

  1. Use of Service
    You may use our services, you consent us to making periodic connections attempts to your server and warrant that the server is a Minecraft server and that you are the owner or an authorized person to add the server on the owner's behalf. You understand that the use of this service is a privilege and not a right.

  2. Server Content and Information
    You own the content and information you post on Minestatus. By adding your server to Minestatus, you consent that content covered by intellectual property rights, like server banners ("IP Content"), you specifically grant us a non-exclusive, transferable, sub-licensable, royalty-free, worldwide license to use any IP content you provide on your server's listing ("IP License"). This IP License is terminated when you delete the IP content from your server or when you deleted your account. When you remove this IP content, you understand that this deleted content may persist in backup copies for a reasonable period of time but this content will not be available to others. You also understand that such content may be accessed and used outside of Minestatus (like search engines).

  3. Sponsored Servers
    If you place one or more bids to have Minestatus sponsor any of your servers that is listed on Minestatus, you agree that you are obligated to pay the full amount you have placed for each bid made in the case your bid makes it to the top five. You also agree that you may also be obligated to pay for your bid ends up fulfilling unpaid bids that once took place in the top five. You agree that failing to pay for a bid that you were obligated to pay for will revoke your privilege to place any bids for a sponsored server slot. Sponsored servers and bids placed may be terminated at anytime by us for any or no reason. Bids placed may only be terminated by you before bidding close of the current month.

  4. Premium Services
    Payment is due upon invoicing. Premium services will be cancelled if an invoice is left unpaid for over 24 hours and may possibly result in termination in your privilege to use this service. Premium services may be terminated at anytime by us or you for any or no reason. Upon confirmation of termination, premium services are immediately cancelled and a prorated refund may or may not be given.

  5. Payments
    By placing any bid for a sponsored server or by signing up for a premium service, you allow us to invoice and charge you the amount agreed upon. Payment is due upon invoicing or confirmation. Failure to pay by the due date listed or in the case there is no due date, within 24 hours. Payments made are final except under certain circumstances determined under the discretion made by us. If any chargeback is made after a payment has been made, the following outcomes may occur but are not limited to: termination of your privilege to use this service, termination in the privilege to use any paid service.

  6. Removal of Server
    We reserve the right to remove any server at anytime with or without any reason. You may delete your server off from Minestatus at anytime by clicking "Delete" at the bottom of your server's page. Once the server has been removed off from Minestatus, your consent for us to make periodic connections attempts to that servers has been revoked. Any premium services and sponsored server time associated with that server will also immediately be terminated.

  7. Termination
    We reserve the right to terminate any account at anytime with or without any reason. You may terminate your account at any time by logging into your account and clicking "delete your account" under Account Settings. When your account has been terminated, all your servers will be removed from Minestatus if you are the last owner on them and any premium services and sponsored server time associated with servers that will be removed will immediately be terminated.

  8. Warranty Disclaimer
    There are no warranties of any kind, express or implied, with respect to any service.

  9. Change of Terms
    We reserve the right to change the Terms of Service at anytime with or without notice.
