I've played on this server since November and i really like the community. I like knowing i can build and my things will still be there when i get back on-line. Sure no community is perfect, but still out of all the servers i've tried this is the only one that has kept me eager to come back and play. i give Ampersand an A+.
This is a nice, well constructed server from the 10 minutes I was on it....
The fact that it required you to take a quiz on the hundred or so signs you were supposed to read off of was good, letting people know of the rules. I began to take the quiz and finally passed it, eager to start on this what looked to be great server. As I am walking around, I see the owner spamming the chat, and sending smart remarks to his players and admins, such as "umadbro?" and such. Not trying to sound annoying, I ask where I can build, and say sorry I'm mentally challenged, I need a place to build. as I ask this, I am immediately banned from the server. my initial thought was that it was because I shouldn't have asked a stupid question, but later, the reason for me getting banned was because I was "an insult to the mentally challenged." I must say, It was indeed a joke, although I myself am slightly mentally challenged, suffering from a mild case of ADD in my younger years. so honestly if i was insulting anyone, it would be myself. The owner needs to learn to take a joke as I said no bad words, and instead try to help me. He's losing valuable players with his smart attitude and I hope he changes. Overall a good server, just don't say anything, or most likely you will be banned for a goofy reason like I did.
